Simple Puerto Rican Pinchos
“I know a lot about crazy days,” says Elie Berchal. And it’s no wonder—the Nebraska-based owner of food services and catering business is not only preparing to open her own restaurant, but she’s also a mom of four and grandmother of eight. But one thing she always has time for is her family—and nothing lights up a home gathering like her flavorful pinchos.
“I want to bring our seasonings, our flavor, and our culture here.”

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – Elie Berchal is planning on opening her own restaurant in north Omaha. Berchal acknowledges her business in her passion but she admits resources are limited.
“Super difficult,” Berchal said. “In my case, I gotta have my family and myself. It’s been difficult to knock on doors and they either don’t open and if they do open, they still don’t resolve the issue.”
